Launched in Sainte-Julie by Patrick Byarelle, Phil Grisé and Fred Pierre-Antoine back in 1999, the first EMPIRE store marked the beginning of a new era, maybe not for the human race, but certainly for the local skateboard and snowboard community. A few years later, the results speak for themselves: five sales locations in the greater Montreal area, a new boutique in Quebec City, an online store for customers Canada-wide and a top-notch team of more than 100 passionate employees.
With an inventory of over 150 labels, EMPIRE has become Canada’s leading retailer specializing in skate/snowboard clothing and accessories. Since its inception, the company has served over 50,000 customers of all stripes – snowboarders, skateboarders, amateurs, pros, men, women and children. EMPIRE also provides financial support to many amateur and professional athletes.
The secret of this stellar success? EMPIRE’S experienced, talented, expert team of associates! Together, they have developed and refined a unique concept for the specialized clothing industry, using a non-conventional, highly innovative marketing approach and relying on an exceptional crew of professional and amateur skate/snowboarders.
