The Empire Backyard Party was held at Mont St-Bruno, Quebec, with some major dough ($20 000 in total, the fattest cash purse for a rail jam in the province to date!) and a group of riders that was just as impressive. Everything lined up to be a perfect day: the sun was out, the conditions were spring like, the BBQ was busy, and beautiful ladies were sharing the spa while checking out the riders destroying the spectacular street rail setups. The format was simple and stress free for all: three different obstacles, one hour jam on each of them. The judges were looking to reward the three riders that gave the best overall impression.
