If you want to know more about Charles new Thrasher part or his signature colorway on DC, Here is a little talk with the man in question.

Whatsup Charles, what's new?

Mellow, I work on several skateparks projects at the moment, I enjoy the summer in Montreal and I try to skate as much as possible. Let's say I keep myself busy.

If you could describe your DC shoe model in a few words, what would you say?

Classic skate shoes. Perfect for skating with a low-key look and black color. The shoes have a perfect shape and are very durable, ideal for long skate sessions. I'm actually really stoked on the result.

What was the process for the shoe?

It was a surprise for quite a while, I had no idea until the shoe was ready for production. I had the chance to say my word just before the production to modify some stuff to make it exactly how I wanted it. It all went very well. It was a very nice surprise for me, too.

How long have you been riding for DC?

I've been riding for them for about five years. I always loved the brand, they knew how to support me 100% in all the projects I have undertaken. Just having a shoe with them really demonstrates their support for me. Seriously, I could not be happier !

How long have you been filming for your brand new Thrasher part?

It's been filming for 2-3 years, on and off. I worked on several projects at the same time, some filmed with the VX1000 and others in HD, so it was a bit difficult to focus on everything at the same time. I made several trips for the Thrasher part and I am pretty stoked on the result, but I wish it would've come out a bit earlier in the year. On the other hand, I'm really glad that it’s ending on Thrasher. Hard work pays off, I guess.

Are you satisfied with the result?

Yes. I might have wanted to shoot other tricks and change a few in there, but in general, I'm satisfied.

Do you still work at designing skateparks?

Yes, I still do some projects on the side to keep me occupied to the max, I try to remain productive in this area so that we end up having better standards concernent skateparks in Quebec. The process is long and the results are not seen overnight, but I think we are heading for a new era when we talk about skateparks in Montreal.

What are your plans / projects for the summer?

I would like to go to New York a few times, to film a part for Hotel Blue, my new board sponsor. I will try to focus on that. I also have HD footy with my boys Will and Dill and I would like to finish another HD part for the end of the year. All in all, I just want to try to stay productive.

Thank you’s?

Everyone at DC shoes who were involved with my shoe and who made it happen. Jordan for putting a lot of effort to film my part and all my sponsors, family and friends who have supported me for all these years.
