In life, it’s important to always trust those who know. When you want to repair your car, you call a mechanic, simply. When you want to fix your pipes, you contact a plumber, certainly. And when you want to solve your winter clothes issues, you hit up Dakine, of course!

Dakine appeared in 1973 in Maui, Hawaii and started as a surfing leashes manufacturer. Using materials that were stronger than usual, founder Rob Caplan's main goal was to help his friends to never lose their surfs because of a leash that breaks. Seeing how successful the brand is today, we can safely say that it worked!

Today, nearly 40 years later, Dakine is still a leader in the field of action sports equipment. It’s only recently that the brand decided to introduce an outerwear line to its high-end products selection. Believe us, in addition to being really good looking and with a quality that exceeds industry standards, the gear is very tech. For example, all pants and jackets in the collection include GORE-TEX. It's hard to be wrong with this almost magical material.

Experience: The product’s best friend

Before going into Dakine’s outerwear collection’s details, it's important to mention that the main guy who designed it is none other than the legendary snowboarder Peter Line. If you don’t know who Peter Line is, do your homework and click on the previous hyperlink.

To put it simply... The snowboard outerwear from Dakine is really designed BY snowboarders FOR snowboarders and it really makes a difference. If Peter Line approves, it's definitely a good product.

Here lies all of Dakine’s strength. Experience.
