Last Friday night, we had the pleasure to present the premiere of our first ever full length video, Mismatch. Thanks to Pabst Blue Ribbon, Vans, DC, Stance and Bones Wheels for a night we're not about to forget.

With Covid, travel restrictions and changes in the team, the highly anticipated video took longer than expected to produce. 3 years to be exact, but hey, you only put out your first video once, might as well make it the best it can be!
Showcasing the best skateboarders in Canada in a cross-country spots destruction, the vid truly left audiences cheering for more. From start to finish, the night was filled with excitement, energy, and a whole lot of PBR!
Let’s take a closer look at the highlights, courtesy of master photographers @ryanlebel and @julien_visse.
The front of the venue is usually where it's at before any premiere. Here's a few GOATs in the wild as they prepare to enter AusgangPlaza.
Inside, legends everywhere.
Pif Daddy and PLG. Name a more iconic duo.
West Coast powerhouse and team rider Mikey Ray flew from Vancouver for the premiere and to reunite with his MTL squad.
Montreal artists and seasoned boarders @brothermerle and @lebicar came through.
The place was packed!
When Coryinthehouse is in the house, you know you're about to have a good night.
Bring your lady, if you got one.
Pre-premiere speeches are usually boring, but not if your are Empire's founder Phil Grisé. "Let's give it up for the riders!! BRRAPP BRRAPPP!"
Let's start this thing!
Morgan aka DJ Robinthezoo opened the video with a bang and left people speachless with a mind bending ender at Peace Park.
As you can tell in this photo, some trick in the vid got new team rider Zach screaming. If we had to guess, we'd say it was Mitch Barrette's long nose grind on Vancouver's C Ledge or Seb Laplaine's V-Bomb on Rosemont's bumps. Watch the video and help us find out!
Multi-talent DJ Robinthezoo had a blast behind the turntables and kept a solid groove going alongside Coryinthehouse.
Rumor is that the money from the returned Pabst Blue Ribbon empty cans paid the venues rent for the month.
Some still opted for a nice glass of wine.
More legends. Master photographer Ryan Lebel with young Montreal skate prodigy Max Wasungu.
Stars of the video Seb Laplaine and Charles Deschamps. Charles is one of Empire's oldest family members and to have him close our first full length is a true honor.
Behind any great production, there is a great team. Without them, none of this would've been possible. Here's Phil, Gab, Julien and Arthur letting loose after months of hard work.
Special thanks to our sponsors: Vans Canada, Dc Skateboarding, Stance Socks, Pabst Canada & Bones Wheels. Thank you to our supporters, customers, partners and above all, to the artists behind the art: the skaters! THANK YOU!
