The Arbor Sapling is a youth snowboard binding built for small feet and big ambitions. Sized for boot sizes 3 to 7, it's designed to help younger riders develop confidence and progress their skills across groomed runs and park features without getting in their way.
The Sapling is built around Arbor's X-Base 1 baseplate, reinforced with 15% fiberglass for a stable platform that stays light underfoot. A single-density EVA footbed cushions every landing, while the asymmetrical highbacks and pre-curved Bow Strap adjuster work together to deliver a responsive, natural feel. The universal 4x4 disc makes it compatible with most standard snowboard hole patterns, and fiberglass buckles and levers keep the hardware durable and easy to use with gloves on.
The Sapling is made for young riders just finding their footing on the mountain — beginners and early intermediates who need a forgiving, comfortable setup that grows with them. Its soft-to-medium flex (rated 3 out of 5) keeps things playful and accessible without sacrificing enough support to build proper technique.
