The Armada Cold Press is a dedicated freestyle snowboard built from the ground up for riders who live in the park and thrive on street features. Developed and ridden by Ivika Juergenson and Egan Wint, it's shaped to reward progression through consistent, punishment-ready construction — suited for intermediate to advanced freestyle riders.
The Cold Press rides a flat-top microcamber profile that keeps things playful and forgiving underfoot, with a true twin shape so switch riding feels just as dialed as riding regular. At a flex rating of 5 out of 10, it sits right in the middle — soft enough to press and butter with ease, stiff enough to hold together on bigger jumps. A 100% poplar wood core delivers a strong-yet-light feel with natural torsional forgiveness on rails, backed by Biax fiberglass for maximum torsional flex. A freestyle carbon layup runs tip to tail in a diamond pattern to boost pop without locking down the board's lateral feel. The extruded HDPE base is built to take edge hits, rock scrapes, and rail grinds in stride, and repairs easily if things get gnarly. Composite impact plates reinforce the insert area for long-term durability.
This board is dialed for riders who spend their days lapping the terrain park or hunting down urban features. If you're working on your rail game, honing your jump technique, or blending both into a street-influenced freestyle approach, the Cold Press gives you a platform that's consistent and confidence-inspiring. It rewards commitment without punishing mistakes.
