Meet the Disaster+

The Bataleon Disaster+ is a playful, park-focused all-mountain snowboard built for riders who live on rails and boxes but still want to explore every other corner of the hill. With a forgiving flex and twin-oriented construction, it thrives in the park without locking you out of the rest of the mountain.

How It's Built

The Disaster+ runs a true 3D Twin shape with a low-profile camber that keeps the board lively and balanced in both directions. At a mellow flex of 3 out of 10, it's easy to initiate tricks and butter between features. Power comes from a Woodcore Light Core paired with Bi-Ax Laminate glassing and a Carbon Stringer lay-up that adds pop without extra weight. The Hyper Glide S base keeps things quick underfoot, while C.S.T. Super Tubes and Aramid X-Ply reinforce the board where hits and impacts matter most. Medium nose and tail uplift contribute to Bataleon's signature 3BT geometry, reducing edge catch on landings and flat sections. Bindings mount on a centered insert pack, ideal for a switch-ready, symmetrical stance.

Who It's For

This board is made for freestyle-leaning riders, from progressing intermediates to experienced park regulars, who want one board that handles park sessions and casual all-mountain laps. If you're spending most of your day hitting rails, jumping kickers, and buttering between runs, the Disaster+ is dialled in for exactly that. Riders who prioritize feel and forgiveness over stiffness and high-speed charging will feel right at home.

FAQ

  • Is the Disaster+ good for beginners? Its soft flex and forgiving geometry make it accessible, though it's best suited for riders who already have their basics down and are starting to explore park features.
  • Can it handle groomed runs and off-piste? Yes — the all-mountain twin shape and camber profile give it enough versatility to cruise groomers and handle variable snow, though it's optimized for park and jib terrain.
