Description
The Burton [ak] Cyclic GORE-TEX® 2L is a technical shell jacket built for dedicated snowboarders who put in serious days on the mountain. Whether you're lapping the resort or hiking for turns, it's designed to keep up without slowing you down — and it's the foundation of any complete [ak] kit.
Built for Performance
A GORE-TEX 2-Layer shell in 70D recycled nylon provides reliable waterproof and windproof protection, while a recycled soft taffeta lining — mapped with perforated taffeta — manages moisture on the move. The Rider Wrapped fit uses enhanced articulated patterning for unrestricted movement, and Crossflow Venting™ zippered side body vents let you regulate temperature during high-output efforts. A StormForm Fulltime Contour™ hood with Cohaesive™ embedded cinch adjusts on the fly, and the stretch zip-out powder skirt interfaces with compatible Burton pants to keep snow out. Other highlights include fully taped seams, YKK® water-resistant zippers, a RECCO reflector, an insulated exterior phone pocket, a goggle dump, a zippered sleeve pocket with detachable scraper, an ATM pocket, and a 2-way center front zipper. Backed by Burton's Lifetime Warranty.
Who It's For
This jacket is made for the snowboarder who rides frequently and demands technical gear that earns its place in the bag. If you generate a lot of heat on long runs or sidecountry hikes, the Crossflow Venting™ system gives you the temperature control you need without sacrificing protection. It rewards riders who want one shell that handles everything — from resort groomers to storm days in the backcountry.
