The Burton [ak] Freebird GORE-TEX 3L Stretch Bib is a technical shell pant built for serious backcountry riders — splitboarders, tourers, and lift-accessed chargers alike. Its three-layer Gore-Tex 3L construction sheds everything the mountain throws at it while staying light enough to move with you all day.

Built around a recycled 75D Gore-Tex 3L plain weave fabric with stretch fabrication, this bib delivers full waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability without the bulk of a 2L shell. The relaxed fit works over any layering setup, articulated patterning and a crotch gusset maximize range of motion, and bungee cuff elevators with anti-scuff cuffs protect your setup at the bottom. Fully taped seams, YKK® water-resistant zippers (PFAS-free DWR), and triple-needle reinforced stitching add the durability you'd expect from a lifetime-warranty piece. Crossflow Venting™ with exterior thigh vents and a mesh-lined inner thigh vent manages heat on the climb. Adjustable hook-and-loop suspenders, a beacon loop, chest pockets with a media port, cargo pockets, and hand-warmer pockets round out the setup. A RECCO® reflector is built in for added safety in the backcountry.
