Burton Cartel X EST® 2027 – Bindings

The Burton Cartel X EST® is a high-performance snowboard binding built for riders who demand lightweight response and all-day comfort without sacrificing versatility. Whether you're hitting groomers, park features, or variable backcountry terrain, this binding is designed to keep up across every type of riding — and it's been a consistent bestseller for a reason.

Built exclusively for Burton's Channel mounting system, the Cartel X EST® eliminates hardware underfoot through its EST® baseplate, delivering a direct, real-time connection to your board. The baseplate is constructed from a 45% short-glass/nylon composite for a balance of stiffness and weight savings. Ankle security comes from the Hammockstrap 2.0 paired with Smooth Glide™ buckles, while the toe uses a Supergrip Capstrap™ 2.0 with the same buckle system. The highback features Heel Hammock support and a DialFLAD™ forward lean adjustment. Available in sizes S, M, L. Burton backs every baseplate with a lifetime warranty, and straps and highbacks with a one-year warranty.

Who it's for

This binding is the go-to choice for all-mountain Burton riders who want one setup that handles everything the hill throws at them. The Channel system gives you a wider range of stance options than traditional mounting, so dialing in your exact stance width and angles is quick and precise. If you already ride a Channel-compatible Burton board and want a binding that punches above its weight class, the Cartel X EST® is the answer.

FAQ

• Is the Cartel X EST® compatible with non-Burton boards? No — the EST® mounting system is designed exclusively for Burton boards equipped with the Channel system. It will not work with 4x4 or 2x4 disc patterns.
• What does the lifetime warranty cover? Burton's lifetime warranty applies specifically to the binding baseplates. Straps and highbacks are covered separately by a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.
