Capita Dark Horse 156cm 2027 – All Mountain & Park Snowboard

Description

The Capita Dark Horse is a park-focused freestyle snowboard built for riders who want serious performance without breaking the bank. Available in standard and wide sizes, it's designed for laps through the park, side hits, and anything the mountain throws at you — all at a price that keeps your season pass fund intact.

The 156cm Dark Horse rides on a True Twin shape with a Radial sidecut, giving you a perfectly symmetrical feel whether you're riding regular or switch. The PARK V1 camber profile holds traditional camber through most of the effective edge before zeroing out just before the tip and tail, balancing responsiveness with a forgiving exit. Flex is rated 6 out of 10 — firm enough to handle big kickers but not punishing on landings. Under the topsheet, a Dual Core™ construction pairs with Holysheet™ Tri/Bi fiberglass and Magic Bean™ resin, while two 30mm Carbon Aramid Boosters crank up the snap and ollie power. The Superdrive™ base keeps you moving between features.

Who It's For

The Dark Horse is made for intermediate to advanced freestyle riders who spend most of their time in the park but still want a board that handles resort terrain with confidence. If you're progressing your park game and want a board that rewards commitment without an elite price tag, this is your move. It's also a strong choice for riders wanting a dedicated park setup as a second board.

FAQ

• Is the Dark Horse good for beginners? Its flex rating of 6/10 and traditional camber make it better suited to intermediate and advanced riders who are comfortable in the park and on groomed runs.
• Can I ride the Dark Horse outside the park? Absolutely — its True Twin shape and resort-ready camber handle groomed runs and side hits well, though it's optimized for park performance.
