Description

The Jones Flagship is the board that built the brand's freeride legacy. Designed for riders who chase steep lines, untracked powder and technical backcountry terrain, it strikes the perfect balance between aggressive performance and all-mountain versatility — equally capable on a resort pow day as it is deep in the mountains.

Built around a directional shape with a medium taper and the Freeride CamRock profile — camber underfoot for edge power, rocker in the nose for float, and a touch of tail rocker for maneuverability — the Flagship delivers confident, precise riding across the full range of backcountry conditions. A mid-stiff flex (8/10) keeps the board responsive and dynamic without sacrificing comfort, while construction highlights include a lightweight Paulownia/Poplar Control Core, Triax fiberglass laminate, ampliTex™ Carbon/Flax hybrid stringers, an Ash Wood Veneer topsheet for chatter-free riding, and a fast Sintered 8000 base. Recommended terrain spans steep faces, deep pillows, variable snow and in-bounds groomers. Suited for intermediate to expert riders.

Who it's for

The Flagship is built for the rider who logs as many backcountry days as resort days and needs a board that can handle both without compromise. If powder is your priority but you still demand precision on variable or firm snow, this is your quiver-of-one. It rewards riders who are ready to push into more committed terrain and want the confidence to do it.

FAQ

  • Is the Flagship good for resort riding, or strictly backcountry? The directional shape and CamRock profile make it a strong performer in the backcountry, but the camber underfoot gives it real edge hold and response on groomed runs too — it handles both environments well.
  • What does the Forever Flex technology actually do? It's a break-in process applied at the factory that stabilizes the board's flex and rocker profile for its lifetime, so the board rides consistently from the very first day on snow.
