Description

Our most versatile waterproof jacket for ski/snowboard.

This shell jacket is developed for freeride and touring and it works perfectly for general ski/snowboard, mountaineering and outdoor activities.

We use GORE-TEX® fabric because it’s the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET Less than 13), and total windproofness.

The main material is a 3-layer woven ePE GORE-TEX® fabric with a 40D 100% recycled nylon face and backer, 105gm2.

Key features include: A helmet-compatible storm hood with one-hand adjustment, two mid mounted pockets with YKK water-resistant zippers, asymmetric cuffs with velcro adjustment, open chest ventilation, internal chest pocket, and a laminated stretch woven hand gaiter.

This jacket has a technical fit and hits the sweet spot between lyngen’s more fitted silhouette and tamok’s more relaxed cut. The fit is a great alternative also for the discerned splitboarder.

Waterproofing Waterproof products that will keep you dry during heavy rain. However, if you’re out for many hours in extensive rain and wind, they will provide less protection than category 6, and you may get wet in very exposed areas. They are lighter than our most waterproof garments and will, therefore, feel a bit colder if you’re out in bad weather for a longer period of time.
Insulation Has no insulating properties but can still work well on top of insulation layers and provide heat through wind protection. Thin one-layer fabrics, often super packable and lightweight shell products. Will feel cold during windy conditions if you don’t have any layering underneath.
