The Ride Kink 2027 – Street-Ready, Park-Proven

The Kink is a dedicated freestyle machine built for riders who live on rails, handrails, and urban features. With a design philosophy rooted in predictability and durability, it's equally at home in the park or out in the street — the go-to choice for serious jib and freestyle progression at any level comfortable pushing their limits.

Built on an Extra Camber profile — meaning more camber underfoot for added pop and lively response — the Kink pairs that energy with a minimal tip rocker to keep catches at bay. Its true twin shape lets you ride equally in both directions, making switch riding feel as natural as riding regular. The Quadratic Sidecut blends three radii to sharpen turn initiation and lock in edge hold, while the Foundation™ Aspen wood core keeps the flex consistent and the pop intact over time. Durability gets a serious upgrade through Cleave Edge™ technology, which adds nearly 50% more steel to the edge to resist cracking, and Double Impact Plates reinforce the binding zones against compression breaks. Slim Walls reduce weight while improving energy transfer and dampening. Flex is 2/10. Available lengths: 147CM,151CM,155CM,154W,157W.

Who It's For

The Kink is dialed in for freestyle and street-focused riders who need a board that won't flinch on a gnarly rail or a sketchy urban feature. The Extra Camber rewards skate-influenced riding with genuine pop without sacrificing the catch-free predictability you need when the stakes are high. If you're building a trick arsenal in the park or filming street clips, this is your board.

FAQ

  • Is the Kink good for beginners? The twin shape and predictable camber profile make it approachable, but its street and park focus means it shines most in the hands of intermediate to advanced freestyle riders.
  • How durable is the Kink for heavy rail riding? Very. The Cleave Edge™ adds close to 50% more steel to resist edge cracking, and Double Impact Plates protect the board under the bindings where breaks are most common.
