The North Face Descendit is a clean, no-fuss insulated shell built for riders and skiers who want reliable all-mountain protection without extra weight or bulk. Designed for consistent cold-weather use on groomed runs and beyond, it delivers technical performance in a versatile, understated package.

The outer shell uses seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L fabric — 100% recycled polyester with a non-PFC DWR finish — to block wind and moisture while staying breathable on hard efforts. Inside, 60 g Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation (70% post-consumer recycled polyester in the body and sleeves, 40 g in the hood) traps warmth through hollow-core fibres without adding unnecessary thickness. Underarm vents let you dial in your temperature on the go. The helmet-compatible hood adjusts via a riveted cord-lock system, and a snap-down powder skirt with gripper elastic keeps cold air and snow out when it matters most. A secure chest zip, wrist pass pocket with goggle wipe, internal media port, and a large drop-in mesh pocket round out a thoughtfully organized feature set.
