The North Face Reversible Perrito Hooded is a versatile insulating mid-layer built for active kids aged 7 to 14. Whether worn over a base layer on the slopes or as a standalone jacket on crisp school mornings, it adapts to whatever the day throws at them — and flips inside out for a fresh look whenever they feel like it.

Constructed with a regular fit and raglan sleeves for unrestricted movement, this jacket features recycled synthetic-cluster insulation that retains warmth even when damp. Both sides are made from recycled polyester — the outer at 78 g/m² with WINDWALL™ wind-resistant technology, the reverse at 73 g/m² — and both carry a fluorine-free DWR finish for water repellency. The three-piece attached hood, chin guard, elastic cuffs, and drop-tail hem round out a thoughtful construction built to handle real kid energy.

  • Can this jacket be worn as an outer shell? It can handle light precipitation on its own thanks to the DWR finish on both sides, but it's designed primarily as a mid-layer. For heavy snow or rain, a waterproof shell on top is recommended.
  • How does the sizing work? The jacket uses youth sizing — XS (6), S (7/8), M (10), L (12), XL (14/16), XXL (18/20). The North Face has updated their youth sizing, so checking their sizing guide before ordering is a good idea.
