The Volcom Barkley is a full-coverage insulated bib built for young riders between 7 and 14 who spend real days on the mountain. Designed with a relaxed fit that allows freedom of movement, it handles everything from groomers to powder days while keeping kids warm, dry, and comfortable enough to focus on riding instead of the weather.
Waterproofing and breathability come in at 10,000mm/10,000g/m², backed by critically taped seams and a PFAS-free DWR finish on the recycled plain weave shell. Inside, 80g of recycled insulation handles the cold without adding bulk, while mesh-lined zippered vents give riders a quick way to regulate temperature on warmer laps. Brushed tricot-lined hand pockets and a zippered chest pocket add everyday functionality, and the boot gaiter keeps snow out at the cuff.
The Barkley is made for groms who are outgrowing gear faster than they're outgrowing the sport. Grow-Tech offers extra room to extend the life of the piece across seasons, and the Zip Tech interface connects cleanly to compatible Volcom jackets for a sealed, no-gap system. The adjustable elastic suspenders and triple-reinforced rise add durability and fit security for riders who don't hold back.
